The KYN28-12KV withdrawable AC metal-clad indoor switchgear is high-quality and tough for use in 3-phase AC 50Hz networks at the target voltage levels between 3.6kV and 12kV. With its brief or inner room approach, foreign technology gives this switchgear the cutting edge performance and protection within environments that are fierce. The switchgear is produced as an enclosed, armored structure, precision engineered using CNC machining for enhancing strength and reliability. It is under development with safety as the main consideration. All arc-proof constructions, strong interlocks, and high protection systems are adopted and abide by the international standards. It has passed electromagnetic compatibility and plateau tests at 3000m altitude.

Ambient temperature: from -25°C to +45°C and with an average value of not more than 35°C per day.

Key Features of KYN28-12KV Metal-clad Switchgear:

Compatible: Compatible with our proprietary GPyN-12kV embedded or insulated sleeve vacuum circuit breakers or ABB\’s VD4 vacuum circuit breakers. In addition, it is also compatible with GPVC vacuum contactor-fuse combinations or ABB\’s VC vacuum contactors, enabling F-C loop cubicles to meet the electrical needs of power plants and substations \”.

High precision engineering : The cabinet uses double bending techniques with high strength aluminum-zinc steel plates using state of the art CNC machinery. It has superior strength and precision.

Advanced surface treatment: The cabinet doors are coated using epoxy resin electrostatic powder spray technology with resistant capabilities towards corrosion, oxidation, and impact. This has made the cabinet more durable and enhanced durability for a long time.

Fully Enclosed Construction The armored design of the cabinet completely isolates the functional parts, thereby providing the ultimate in operation safety. It permits circuit breaker and earthing switch operation even under door-closed conditions.

Interchangeability The chassis is equipped with a precision screw drive mechanism. All chassis interchangeability is excellent, which facilitates maintenance and operation.

Flexible Primary Construction This range of primary design realizes the variety of user requirements. It offers a double chassis at option.

Motorized Earthing and Short-Circuit Protection: A quick earthing switch allows for electrical (motorized) operation, thus assuring speedy grounding and short-circuit protection.

Improved Safety: The \”Five Protection\” interlocking mechanism prevents misoperation, thus making the protection of operators highly guaranteed.

Arc-proof Design: Pressure relief devices at bus compartment, circuit breaker compartment, and cable terminal compartment are some of the arc-proof features, thereby adding layers of safety.

The cable compartment, designed, is spacious and allows for joining multiple cables at suitable distances to allow the right installing height of cables into their plugs.

High Protection Rating: The switchgear has a protection rating of IP4X which makes entrance of foreign objects or pests impossible.

Advanced Monitoring and Control: Optionally integration with secondary system security monitoring devices through self-diagnostics makes remote control, telemetry, and adjustments possible in the system.

Compliance with Standards The switchgear is consistent with GB3906, GB/T1022, DL404, and IEC62271-1 standards. It has completed overall high-altitude tests at 3000m and electromagnetic compatibility tests under confirmed conditions in specified high-voltage equipment laboratories.

This combination of ruggedness, safety, and state-of-the-art engineering in a metal-clad package provides appropriate solutions for a wide range of applications at a medium voltage. Medium-voltage power systems will have a strong platform for reliable, secure operation because of this.
